Geelong West have got themselves a break through victory at West Oval over Anakie in a high scoring affair. Clinton Gray led the charge with 5 goals, whilst Adam Vuccia slotted 6 for the Roos. On Saturday, a very ordinary game of the day up at a beautiful sunny Myers Reserve. Werribee Centrals jumped out of the gates with two quick early goals then answered by the Panthers in what was a tough 1st quarter.
After that though it became a slog with nether side really taking the game by the throat. Centrals did not use the ball well and Bell Post Hill really grinded out a low standard win. But a win is a win.
