Victorian State Team Selection

Congratulations to Max Augerinos and Rhys Mathieson on their selection into the Victorian State Team. They will wear the Big V against all the other states in the Australian Schoolboys Championships, to be held in July/August this year.

Unlike other states the families have to pay to get transport, house and feed the players, and it is anticipated to cost bewteen $1500-2000.00.

Fundraising is already taking place with a BBQ at Hurst last Saturday raising much needed funds (thanks to the competing teams of Bell Park, St Marys and North Shore for supporting this).

As you can imagine this is a big expense on the families (not to mention the costs involved to get the familes up to support the boys!) so any suggestions for raising funds, or any offers of support (moral or financial) please contact the Secretary on dsmckiernan@dodo.com.au.

SCHOOL HOLIDAYS

Remember that after Round 9 we have two weeks off over the school holidays, a time to recharge your batteries and ready yourself for the last half of the year.

Home Team (listed first) supplies the Press Report, Ground Report (Match Day Checklist), Umpires Report & Votes (U11 & 12 ONLY). In addition to your Team Sheet & Goal Umpires Card.

Away Team (listed second) supplies their Team Sheet and Goal Umpires Card, and delivers ALL the paper work to Minerva Rd Fish & Chip Shop by 6.00pm Saturday Night.

BOTH TEAM MANAGERS COMPLETE THE 1 (ONE) PRESS REPORT AND GROUND REPORT.

Please ensure we follow the above to ensure the right paperwork is deleivered on time.
