Rarotonga CA: Round 7 Muri Victory
This past weekend saw the final games of the Rarotonga Club Championship round robin stages coincidently the top two ranked teams (Muri and Arorangi) were squaring off against each other and therefore the winner would exit triumphant.

After four rounds of the most extraordinary cricket results seen in recent Rarotonga cricket history it appears that some normalcy has been restored. Batters weren’t able to score as freely and bowlers didn’t dominate either.

On the 16th September 2009 Cook Islands Cricket history was made when a Cook Islander living in the Islands was selected to be the first Twenty20 captain.
