ABOUT TWIN CITIES CLASSIC

The Albury Basketball Association welcomes all players and supporters to the 36th Albury Twin Cities Senior Basketball Classic 2019. We hope you all have an enjoyable weekend of playing basketball and catching up with family and friends.

We ask that all teams please refer to the draw for their game times and venues. Games will be played at Lauren Jackson Sports Centre (229 North Street Albury), PCYC ALBURY (Cnr Keene and Andrews St) and Trinity Anglican College (421 Elizabeth Mitchell Drive Thurgoona). All games MUST start on scheduled time. Please note that there is a guarantee that all teams will play at least a minimum of 4 games over the weekend.

ALL TEAMS MUST SUPPLY A BASKETBALL AND SCORERS FOR OWN GAMES.

MENS A - Teams play 4 rounds with 1st and 2nd play off in Grand Final.

MENS B GRADE: Two pools play 4/5 rounds (with bye). First from each pool play in Grand Final.

MENS C GRADE: TWO pools play 4 rounds. First from each pool play off in Grand Final.

MEN MASTERS - Teams play 4 rounds with 1st and 2nd play off in Grand Final.

WOMENS A - Teams play 3 rounds, Semi-finals (1stv4th) and (2nd v 3rd) and winners play off in Grand Final.

WOMENS B - Teams play 3 rounds, Semi-finals (1stv4th) and (2nd v 3rd) and winners play off in Grand Final.

WOMEN C- Teams play 4 rounds and 1st and 2nd play off in Grand Final.

Players must play at least 2 games with team to qualify for finals.

To ensure the Classic runs in a smooth manner Albury Basketball Association wishes to advise there will be a zero tolerance shown towards any inappropriate or abusive behaviour from any participants and/or spectators.

Any participant and/or spectators who feels the necessity to

1. Persistently or wilfully question or challenge the rulings of the referees

2. Berate or abuse referees

3. Berate or abuse players

4. Berate or abuse other spectators

5. Display conduct which is inappropriate in a sporting environment

Will be asked to leave the venue immediately.

A GRADE: $1000 Runner Up: $400

B GRADE: $500 Runner Up: $200

C GRADE: $500 Runner Up: $200

Masters (Over 35) - $500 Runner Up: $200
