ASSRL celebrates its 40th Anniversary in 2012 with a series of gala events. These include a reunion of former players and officials, the launch of a history of Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League, and a two game series against the English Academy.
Long serving ASSRL Treasurer, Brian Pearson, has been awarded ASSRL Life Membership in recognition for his outstanding contribution to ASSRL activities.
QSSRL President, Stephen Parle, was awarded ASSRL Life Membership in recognition of his long standing contribution to the programs conducted by the ASSRL.
Long serving ASSRL Secretary, Phil Beecher, has been awarded ASSRL life Membership in recognition of his long time contribution to ASSRL programs.
Arthur Lovell, OAM, was awarded honorary life membership in recognition of his outdstanding support of the Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League.
