The AGM will be held on 22 January 2012 2pm onwards at Alexander Construction Offices in Oassin St, Ahuriri (Old Rothmans Offices). Refreshments will be provided. All interested parties welcome!
IMS HB MASTERS TEAMS EVENT 2012
Our annual teams event will be held on the 31st March 2012. For entry forms click on tournament entry forms in menu above. Teams consist of 2 men and 2 women and there will be an open grade and a b/c grade.
MEEANEE INDOOR SPORTS CENTRE - FANTASTIC OFFER!
If you are an affliated club member of a Hawkes Bay club, you can now purchase a swipe card from Meeanee Indoor Sports Centre for just $10 per year. A minimum of $40 worth of light time ($8 per hour) must be loaded on the card at the time of purchase. BADMINTON HB PATRON DIES
All involved in badminton would know Harold Mayo, our beloved patron. Unfortunately he passed away at the age of 94 on the 3rd of July. Harold was a fantastic contributor to our sport and a real icon that will be sorely missed by all that knew him. Harold had us in hysterics at our 75th Jubilee last year when recalling past stories in the badminton world, we were so grateful he participated in our special event. His life was celebrated in a packed gathering at his beloved St Matthews Church on the 9th July.
r.i.p Harold Pemberton Mayo - 24th August 1917 to 3rd July 2011.
