Congratulations to James Ashby who won the Sports Waitakere Junior Sportsmans of the Year Award held at the Trust on the 25 November. Awesome way to end the year for James and his family.

Congratulations to U17 Rep - Penina Davidson who capped off a great year with winning the annual College Sports Female Player of the Year award held on the 24 November. Penina plays for Rangitoto College.

Congratulations to Morgan Roberts who is a proud WWABi representative player representing New Zealand overseas. 

She has just recently signed for the University of Hawai'i and everyone from WWABi would like to wish her the best of luck overseas.  Well done :)

Congratulations to the WWABi Under 15 boys and Girls team who came home from Nelson at the U15 Nationals as National Champions for 2011.

The Girls and boys defended their titles and both had a great run at the tournament.

Congratulations to the Under 13 Girls who were crowned National Champions in Napier on Friday after a close win of 2 points over Waikato in the finals. Georgia Leff Milner and Natasha Ah Hing were also selected for tournament team with Natasha named as MVP.

Our U13 boys lost to cross town rivals Auckland in the final to finish 2nd at Nationals.
