NETBALL GEARS UP FOR FIJI GAMES

Netball Fiji is looking forward to an intense one-day competition on Saturday at the Fiji Sports Council's Multipurpose Courts at Laucala Bay. Suva, Nasinu, Korovou, Nausori, Nadroga and Navosa have registered teams for the round robin competition with the top 2 teams playing off for gold and silver and the 3rd and 4th ranked teams to play off for the bronze.

Weightlifting Fiji's Assistant National Coach, Paula Peniasi Taqua returned this week from Switzerland after successfully completing the ICECP. The Program was offered by the University of Delaware in partnership with the United States Olympic Committee and the International Olympic Committee who also assisted in funding Paula's scholarship.

TEAM FIJI PREPARES FOR ITS TEAM ASSEMBLY - SATURDAY 12TH JANUARY, 2013.

Team Fiji is preparing this week for its Team Fiji Athletes & Officials Team Assembly.

Team Fiji participating in the next major sporting event where the athletes will take part in the 9th Pacific Mini Games being held in Wallis & Futuna from 02nd – 12th September, 2013. All the 22 member nations of the Pacific Mini Games Council will be taking part in these Games. The Fiji contingent will number around 136 athletes and officials.

The Team Assembly is scheduled for:
