The best-ever multi-sport team ! The I-Kiribati team which has recently returned from Cook Islands was, in tangible terms, the most successful multi-sport team at the level of the Pacific Mini Games. more -->
Kaitinano Out In a great shock to all of us, Kaitinano has fallen ill in Fiji and was unable to travel to Beijing for the Games.

She will be hospitalised in Fiji for now until arrangements can be made to bring her back to Kiribati.

David K. off to Beijing ! Thursday 17th July

We wondered, but now we have an official invitation and also his accreditation. Assuming he does not get hit by a bus (as at the South Pacific Games in Samoa last year), David will compete and could do well. While he has been training, his PB lifts and total have improved and he is likely to place higher than the previous Kiribati lifter in Athens, Meamea. more -->
Rabagaki Surges
Off To Games Number Two August 8th. 2008 in Beijing will mark the beginning of our second Olympic Games. We guess that there will not be so much interest in us as there was for Athens ! Then we were new boys (and girls) ! Now there are others to focus on, e.g. Marshall Islands ! more -->
