Thank you to all the teams that registered for the 2013 tournament. Once again collectively we have broken the record.
We ask all team managers to ensure all their team players are registered into the competition by using the following link below and creating a SP Passport. You then have the ability to link your team to your Passport using the team code and password and then clicking on members tab to see the players.

If a player is not registred into the team please use the 'Add additional players to team' icon below. Please note this button will be disabled on the 5th June. Any players missing from teams will required to be added by the team managers before the start of each game on each scoresheet at each venue.
What competition should I put my team in?
The Nunawading Spectres Tournament age groups go by ‘rep’ age. This means that no player in the team can turn that age during the year. For example a under 18 player cannot turn 18 in 2013. If a team has any 18 year olds travelling with you, we have in the past allowed overseas teams to still play in the tournament understanding that if they make finals, they will not qualify.
As a guide we have used the following information on which division to select
- A grade - suits VJC / Div 1 and Upper VJL 1 teams
- A Reserve grade - suits Lower VJL 1 and VJL 2 teams
- B1 grade - suits VJL 3, VJL 4 and Upper East teams
- B2 grade - suits East 2, 3 & 4
- C grade - suits Lower East and domestic teams
VJL is the same as the old Metro grading that was used by Basketball Victoria for many years so VJL1 and sometimes VJL2 would usually be top age players not up to the highest level.
VJL 3 & 4 typically are bottom age players unless the skill level wasn’t there.
East is the same – usually for kids with lower skills – could be top or bottom age - would usually be compared to B grade in domestic or lower as the numbers east 2, 3 & 4.

STADIUM ENTRY CHARGES FOR THE TOURNAMENT
We have had several enquiries about what it costs to get into stadiums and where can tickets be bought. Well, it's like this. Your team has paid an entry fee for the tournament and that fee covers the cost of Stadium entry for everyone. You can bring Grandma, Grandpa and 50 of the next door neighbours and it will not cost you a cent to get them in. You could help us though by buying a raffle ticket but thats only if you want to. It's not compulsory.
