$.5 Million Stadium Renovations Have Begun!!!!!! 

The major renovations of the stadium have now started with demolition and building well underway. As a result of this the stadium will be completely closed until February 1st 2010 with all senior games being relocated to other stadium during this period! We apologise for the inconvenience but think you will agree that it will all be very worth it when we re-open!! Stay tuned for details of the Grand Re-Opening Event! Morphett Vale Basketball Stadium has recently been given a grant of $220,000 from the State Government to assist towards replacing all existing floorboards with a brand new high quality flooring system as well as redevelop and improve the entrance way to create a new user-friendly foyerand admin area! This funding along with contributions from the City of Onkaparinga and Basketball SA has reulted in a $0.5 Million makeover to create a wonderful new sports facility! This is very exciting for the basketball community and will give the stadium a much needed modern and professional redevelopment!! if you would like more information about this new project please feel free to contact stadium manager!!
