There are people who have never felt the pride, experienced the thrill or tasted the highs and lows of a Grand Final. Wayville Sports Centre hasn’t either.

In conjunction with Basketball SA, the Junior District Div. 1 Grand Finals will be held at Wayville on Friday 17/9 and Saturday 18/9. This will be the first time since opening in 1999 that it has been possible to stage the Winter Season Grand Finals at this venue. It is also likely to be the last opportunity to host for some time. Usually the floors are re-sealed each year after the Royal Adelaide Show. This year they will only be treated to a good clean, as the Wayville courts undergo their 10 year maintenance program during the Christmas break having all floors completely re-sanded and all line markings updated. It will also mark our 11th anniversary since moving from the old Forestville Stadium. So in combination with Forestville Eagles Basketball Club, we’re making the most of it by having the Adelaide 36ers and Link Lightning join in the celebrations! A clearly unmissable occasion with great food, face painters and a variety of stalls available, all you need to do is get there! Tickets at the door, $3 for spectators with free admission for children under 16.
