Congratulations to Under 12 Boys div 2. Winners of the Bearcats Mid Year Carnival 12 Boys Division Last weekend the under 12 div 2 boys won the Bearcats carnival. It was a great display of Team work. Campbelltown Leisure Centre Redevelopment - Sunday Mail Articles You may be aware that the Campbelltown Council has sought funding from the state and federal governments to help fund the redevelopment of the Campbelltown Leisure Centre. The Federal Government has declined to provide funding for what we regard as a vital piece of community and basketball infrastructure that will continue to leave South Australia under serviced with quality indoor active recreation and basketball facilities compared to other states and territories.

June Long Weekend Carnival Participation Congratulations to all Norwood teams who participated in carnivals within the state and in Victoria over the June Long Weekend. Thanks you to the coaches, team managers and parents who gave up their time to support their participation.

If you would like your team acknowledged for their performance please email admin@norwoodbasketball.com.au with the team name (age and gender etc) and the name of the carnival and finishing position. If you like please include a brief summary of the weekend and we will organise to get it up on our website.

We had 5 teams qualify for, and participate in the Melbourne Classics the premier club based carnival. it is a credit to all teams to qualify as one of the top 16 teams in Australia in their age groups. more -->

Aussie Hoops and Norwood Development Squads at MARS and CLC Norwood Basketball Club is running starter programs for beginner and junior basketballers at both Mars and CLC in Term One, after last year’s successful launch of the program. Aussie Hoops for 5-9 yr old beginners, and the Development Squad for 9-12 year olds will both be offered, from 4-5pm. The Mars program will run on Mondays, from Monday 8 February ; the CLC program will run on Thursdays, and starts on Thursday 4 February 2010. Please register – numbers are limited.
