 BASKETBALL CAMPS & CLINICS - July School Holidays

Registrations are now open for the Basketball Camps and Clinics provided by the Club through the July holidays. They cater for varying skill levels and provide different focus' so you may want to go to a few different sessions with different groups. For more details on times click on The Club tab above and go to Holiday Camps.

Elite Holiday Camps for kids playing in the VJBL competition on a Friday night in U12 and U14 - camps will be on Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd and are being run by Lori Chizik, who has recently been asked to be assistant coach of the Australian Opals for a few months. She is also the Australian Under 17 Assistant Coach and the Victorian U20 State Coach - so come along and learn from one of the best and be ready for NITP Camps in the second week. Junior Domestic Skills Clinics are ideal for kids aged 6 to 12 who are playing in the Primary School Competitions or the EDJBA Saturday competition. WNBL coaches and players plus other coaches will be at the sessions to assist the players with their development drills and ensure the kids havefun whilst improving their basketball skills. Two sessions a day on Wednesday 3rd, Thursday 4th and Friday 5th July. Register quickly as we are limiting numbers. Click here for registration.

Big V are running 4 sessions over 2 days Monday 8th and Tuesday 9th July. the sessions will focus on shooting and offence and are ideal for players aged 8 to 16. Sessions will be run by Big V coaches and players including US imports Corey Standerfer and Mike Rose, and former Melbourne Tigers NBL player Adrien Sturt. Click here for registration.

These are all great camps and clinics that will assist is various aspects of your game so get along to as many as possible and make sure you are firing and ready to go when the seasons start again.

SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING

Bulleen Templestowe Basketball Club Committee of Management invite existing members, as defined under the Club's current Constitution to attend a Special General Meeting on

Monday 17th June 2013 at 7:30PM at The Boomers Bar.

The Meeting has been called to discuss and vote whether the Club adopts the proposed new Constitution that was advertised and promoted for comment in August 2012. A copy of the final proposed Constitution can be found here.

A huge weekend for our men's Big V teams, with our Youth Men roaring back to form with a big double header win weekend, and our Champ Men comfortably accounting for Eltham. Not so great for our women's teams, with both suffering disappointing losses in winnable games.

 Apologies to a couple of Champ Men who posted big numbers, but the Willster was on fire again across the weekend and was a huge part of the big double for our Youth Men - nice job again Will.
