The City of Sydney Basketball Association congratulate another Comets junior and current WABL mens player Obi Kyei on obtaining a scholarship to Metro State.

The association will be running a Skills & Drills camp in each week of the upcoming July school holidays.

Open to all players (boys & girls) aged 8-15 years the Skills & Drills camps provide a great place for any young basketballer to refine your skills and learn a little more about the game of basketball.

The City of Sydney Basketball Association will be conducting a beginners coaching course on Sunday July 7th, 9am - 12 noon.

The course will cover basic skills, drills and some game philosophy.

The City of Sydney Basketball Association will once again be running a one day shooting camp on Friday July 5th.

The association is pleased to announce Sydney Comet Vanessa Panousis signing with NCAA Division 1 university Virginia Tech.

A current member of the WABL and Youth League women's program Vanessa has had an outstanding junior career with not only the Comets but also competing for New South Wales at several national championships along with representing Australia at the 2012 World Championships.
