Mens A-Grade Supervisor - Wednesday Night

SDBAL is seeking a suitably qualified person to fill the above position.
The SDBAL Wednesday night A-Grade competition has been made up of SEABL and high level A-grade players.
The competition currently has 4 teams - 2 games held on the night - 6.50 and 8pm start times.

Our plan is to use this high level competition platform to train current SEABL/ QBL/ SBL referees as well as educate our upcoming Association senior referees (new State level referees).
We will be running 3 man officiating on the games - 2 x QBL referees and 1 x upcoming association referee.
This will give the opportunity for our association refs to learn/ practice 3-man officiating and refine their skills on the higher level games.
We also plan to bring in suitable 'guest Referee Coaches' on occasion to help in the education process.

The position will be one of referee coordinator and referee educator.
Responsibilities include:
• Sourcing and rostering referees - the same refs will most likely be used on both games on the same night.
• Rotating our Association senior referees through the night as availability dictates – SDBAL to supply a list of relevant officials
• Supervising the 2 games on the night to ensure the start on time and run in an orderly manner
• Coach and evaluate both games, providing a written report to the referees and to the SDBAL office.
Currently offering $20 per game ($40 for the night) for the position.

After another successful year Southern Districts is seeking expressions of interest for both managers and coaching staff for the 2013 -2014 season.

It is easy to find familiar faces in the teams of the Online News Corporation Brisbane Spartans and Carina Leagues Club Lady Spartans with the rosters full of home grown junior talent.

The greatest basketball rivalry in the city of Brisbane is between Southern Districts Spartans based on the south side of the Brisbane River and Brisbane Basketball Capitals based at Auchenflower on the north side.

To access the entire competition Draw
Click on fixtures/Results.
Select the Fixtures you are after for eg. Monday A Men
Select Reports on the top bar.
Select Fixture for entire competition.

SDBAL will be using sporting pulse for all our registration and competition management from 1/1/2013.

We will be accepting payment by credit card when you register online, this will give you a discount on the registration fee.

All players need to be registered and paid before the first game.

The following is the process for registrations.

1. Go to the http://www.sdspartans.basketball.net.au website.
2. At the top on the right hand side is the 2013 Registration.
3. Click on the "Click here for registration" button.
4. Enter all the details as requested on each screen, please ensure you choose the correct club "Senior" on the first screen.
5. Select the correct registration and the system will allow you to pay both via credit card online.
6. CANTEEN payments should only be used for cash payments only. Please note: It is preferable that fees are paid at the time of registration so please ensure you have your credit card ready. Those who choose to pay in person at the canteen will incur a $5 surcharge.
