Coaching Staff Change - Under 14 Boys SPARTANS COACHING STAFF CHANGE

The Southern Districts Basketball Association today accepted the resignation of Dave Powers as the under 14 boys head coach for private reasons.

“Dave has been great within our program and is one of the hardest club workers I have been involved within recent years” offered General Manager, Allan Ladewig. “We have accepted his decision and are pleased that he has elected to stay involved, albeit in a less time consuming position.”

Current assistant coach to the Carina Leagues Club Lady Spartans, Steven Edwards, has stepped forward to assist the Association, taking up the reigns of the under 14 boy’s squad.

Fresh tryouts will commence this Wednesday at the Rowland Cowan stadium from 4:30pm till 6pm, where Dave will also be in attendance.
