District League Final Round Wrap
The final round of the District League Competitions included the first match this season between the eventual champions of both leagues in Balgownie Rangers and Wollongong Olympic.
As fortune would have it, there was nothing at stake at PCYC North Wollongong on Saturday, with both sides clinching the respective League Champions tags in the weeks leading up to the clash.

South Coast Utd and Picton Rangers Share Points
In the sole remaining Round 21 fixture played last night at JJ Kelly Park, South Coast Utd & Picton Rangers had to settle for a share of the points in a pulsating game with the two sides locked at 1-1 at full time.
With the game played end to end throughout the 90 minutes,Michael Santalab gave SCU a 20th minute advantage before Adam Wither scored a wonder goal to level the scores in the 47th min.

Cringila Lions Capture Themselves an IPL Lifeline
After appearing doomed to relegation a few weeks ago, Cringila Lions have given themselves half a chance of retaining their top flight status, with a stirring 3-1 victory over Tarrawanna at Crehan Park last night.
The win came on the back of a rousing second half performance which saw them fight back from a goal down at the interval for a deserving win.

Wollongong United missed a great opportunity to cement their claims for a spot in the IPL Top Five when they were surprisingly beaten 1-0 by Fernhill in their deferred Round 21 fixture played last night.
This was never going to be an easy match for United, as is the case with the vast majority of games in the IPL this season,with the Foxes also desperate for the three points.

Only one point seperated second placed Bulli and third placed Port Kembla going into the penultimate round clash at Wetherall Park on Saturday.

The Wollongong Olympic Club have capped off a fantastic season with their Youth Grade side being crowned Illawarra Credit Union League Champions on Saturday afternoon.
This was one championship that really went down to the wire with both Olympic and Warilla Wanderers having opportunities to take out the title.
Going into Round 22 Olympic held a two point advantage and had a 3 goal better GD.

Dandaloo Take Over Top Spot in IPL
With just two rounds remaining in the IPL, Dandaloo have taken over top spot after previous front runners, Albion Park White Eagles, were beaten on the weekend.
In a top of the table clash at Balls Paddock, Bulli did their title aspirations no harm at all, when they comfortably beat the White Eagles 2-0 although the scoreline would suggest otherwise.

Wollongong Olympic have earned the right to apply for promotion to the Illawarra Premier League, after winning the Illawarra Credit Union League Championship on the weekend and they did it in fine style.
The 13 to 1 demolition of Shell Cove was not totally unexpected and they can now start to prepare for a tilt at the IPL.

Port Kembla have won the 2010 Fraternity Club Youth Cup with an emphatic 4-1 victory over Bulli.
Port Kembla were on the front foot early and scored after ten minutes from the penalty spot. The game was as good as over at half time with the Black & Whites leading by three goals to nil.
