Matthew Marc Schuthof 11/03/1991 – 26/02/2013

Matthew died tragically last week in a motor vehicle accident.

Matt played soccer for many years with Wakehurst Soccer Club, refereed for a short time as a junior, and recently played in the Blue Mountains, and Bomaderry.

Matthew was loved and adored as a husband to Zoe, a brother, a son and a friend by many in the community. In particular, he has many friends throughout the football community. His wider work in the community touched many lives and he will be sadly missed by all.

Zoe herself has strong connections in the football community having played for Robertson-Burrawang Rovers Soccer Club, and FNSW Southern Branch and Macarthur Rams in Women's Super League and Women's Premier League. She played at the NSW state titles, and represented NSW Country at the Nationals.

The Highlands Soccer Association on behalf of the many friends within the football community extends its sympathies to Matthew’s family.

Matthew’s family has invited friends to celebrate the life of Matthew Marc Schuthof per:

Dapto Anglican Church
1.30pm Thursday 7th March
Moombara Street, Dapto

Please add to the colour of the day by wearing something bright.

The family request that instead of flowers people make a love offering for Zoe.

WHAT IF IT IS RAINING?

Will my training or match still be on?

The Highlands is as big as almost all of the Sydney area. It might be raining at one end and clear at another.

To find out if your training venue or match venue is weather affected, and if the field has any training restrictions or is closed, you should contact your own Club in all cases first.

Where possible, HSA receives field condition reports from each Club and will make fixture changes to accommodate field closure. So always check the HSA website and/or the 'Fixtures & Results' tab above for any wet weather changes or updates. Sometimes it is possible to move games to other venues at late notice..
