The Cavaliers Basketball Club caters for boys & girls from age 6 and up.

We have experienced coaches and we provide a fun, energetic and positive environment for children to learn and enjoy the sport of Basketball. We are an inclusive Club where all children are accepted and encouraged to participate regardless of experience or ability.

We train mainly at the Warrane Stadium and games are played either at the Warrane or Clarence Stadium (next to the Clarence Pool).

The Cavaliers Basketball Club Inc. has been around for more than 20 years and we find that a lot of our parents played for Cavaliers in their youth. The fond memories from these times led them to encourage their children to get involved with the sport.

Our Club has a strong focus on good sportsmanship, how to work as a team and learning the unique skills required to play basketball. We enjoy what we do and this shows through every aspect of our club.

We regularly work with children from non-english speaking backgrounds and their parents - we have had particular success with the local Burundian Community.

The Club is run by parents who volunteer their time and experience for the benefit of all who are involved.
