Coaching Positions Vacant: Penrith TA Vawdon Cup Teams

Applications are now called for anyone interested in applying as the Head Coach or Assistant Coach of any of the Penrith Touch representative teams competing in the 2013 Vawdon Cup.

Associate Professor Donna O'Conner at State Conference

The NSWTA is proud to announce that Associate Professor Donna O’Conner will headline the list of presenters to be in attendance at the Associations inaugural Women’s Coaching Seminar to be held in conjunction with the State Conference on October 14-16.

Shortly the New South Wales Touch Association will unveil how it intends to select the four teams allocated to NSW by the national body in the new biannual Elite 8 competition.

Coaching Accreditation - Levels of Progression

The New South Wales Touch Association in August 2009 reviewed its current policy on representative coaches and the minimum standard required at state events.
To improve the standard of coaching in the state, the NSWTA has determined that the minimum coaching standard required at state events needs to once again be increased.

Coaching Re-accreditation

A coaches National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) accreditation coverage lasts approximately four (4) years, after which a coach must update their accreditation.
A coach does not have to resit a course, howver must submit a 'Reaccreditation Form' to Austalian Sports Commision. Open this news item for further information.
