U/10 & U/12 BOYS & GIRLS DEVELOPMENT DAYS - ALL PLAYERS WELCOME
MWTA is currently conducting U/10 and U/12 Development Days and ALL players are welcome to participate - the beginner to representative player. The Development Days are being held at Nolans Reserve, North Manly on the last Sunday of each month from 8am to 9:45am. MWTA's highly accredited and experienced Coaches headed up by Matt Scranage and Christian Browne will be running the skills sessions.

$550 FINE FOR SMOKING AT SPORTING VENUES – SPECTATORS AND PARTICIPANTS
New South Wales Touch Association has asked Affiliates to ensure their members are aware that NSW Health - Tobacco Compliance Officers will now be issuing fines to people found smoking at sporting venues. Smoking has been banned at sport venues in spectator areas since 7 January 2013 under the Smoke-free Environment Act 2000. Please click 'more'.

Congratulations to a number of MWTA's Junior members on their recent achievements - Aaliyah Paki, Pihuka Duff, Brittany Clifford and Faith Nathan have all been selected in the CHS NSW 15's Girl's Team. Matthew Rocca was selected in the CHS NSW 15's Boys Team. Aaliyah's selection has topped off a fantatic couple of months for Aaliyah. For additional information click on "more" ......

IMPORTANT REMINDER TO ALL TEAMS & PLAYERS RE: UNIFORMS
The 2 round "grace" period has now past in regards to “Playing Uniforms” as stipulated in our Competition Rules. **Penalties, including loss of points will be enforced by the Competition Manager and our Referees to any Teams and their players who do not comply with the Competition Uniform Rules as and from Round 3 of the 2013 Winter Competition. SENIOR WINTER COMPETITION ONLINE PLAYER & REFEREE REGISTRATIONS ARE STILL OPEN
Winter Online Player Registrations to their team & Referee Registrations are still OPEN. Players will require their Team Code from the Team Manager. Click on "Online Regos" top menu bar, far right hand side and scroll down the page to the link. Please continue to check your Division's draw throughout the Season as circumstances may arise where a redraw is required. Have a great season everyone.

FOOTWEAR TO BE WORN BY ALL JUNIOR & SENIOR MEMBERS - WARRINGAH COUNCIL STIPULATION
Members are advised that Warringah Council has implemented a stipulation in regards to footwear worn by our members on grounds during Summer. Only boots/shoes with short moulded studs (no screw ins), short bladed soles or multiple studs (dimpled) are allowed to be worn. Shoes with long studs or long blades are NOT permitted to be worn throughout the Summer Season. Members are also reminded of the Australian Touch Association Playing Rules in regards to footwear. NSWTA LEVEL 1 & LEVEL 2 COACHING COURSES
From 2012 ALL Senior Representative Divisions will be required to have an accredited Level 2 Coach plus a Level 1 Assistant Coach. Junior Representative Divisions U/10's - U/14's must have a minimum Level 1 Coach and U/16 and U/18's are required to have an accredited minimum Level 2 Coach plus a Level 1 Assistant Coach.
