Referee Weekly Game Allocations

All Referee's must be registered online to be assigned weekly games. If you are not playing in a team please see committee and fill in a form with your details.

All weekly referee allocations will be done online for the entire season. This will allow you to plan ahead and advice if you can't attend a specific night.

Help for Touch Referee – relocating to the Peninsula

Dear PTA Community

We were recently contacted by Mark Burgess, a level 4 Touch Referee from Sydney who is looking to move to the Peninsula and who is keen to get involved with PTA. Mark has asked for our help in putting out some feelers for employment opportunities to assist him to get here quicker!

PTA have a Facebook PAGE running. Short term the page will be used for communicating REP events/news, KEY DATES for REGO/GF's & game day updates on WET WEATHER.

Dubbo Country Champs May 25-26, 2013

Country Champs 2013 is ON at Dubbo 25-26 May.

PTA intend to enter the BELOW teams. Players can put their name down for nomination on the noticeboard, contact the committe/email or coach in coming weeks, follow FACEBOOK & website for info on TEAM & PLAYER REQUIREMENTS/TRIAL DAYS/COSTS/etc and a club FUNDRAISING EVENTS.

Sport and Recreation is holding a fantastic program that teaches young people how to run a local sporting club. Rep Coaching Application & Selection Policy

Applications are now open for anyone wishing to apply for a coach or manager for all teams in the upcoming 2013 rep season. This includes SENIOR state cup, country champs & regional. JUNIOR under 18s will be open in a few months.

Level 2 Coaching Qualifications

The committee is please to announce that 3 PTA members have recently passed their level 2 coaching course(the 2nd highest qual)Congratulations to Mark Wilson, Matthew Sawyer JNR & Anthony McVicker on this achievement.

Level 2 coaches are vital to the development & security of PTA's representative structure. Open/Mixed/20s teams must be coached by a min lvl 2 at all rep events.

PTA funding of high-level representatives

PTA is committed to supporting its members and nurturing talent and have developed policy that provides the opportunity for those representing at State level and above to access funding assistance to help offset costs. PTA believes that support in this manner should be mutually beneficially. Accordingly a system of "Association support" has been developed. For more information read the policy document located in the "more menus" section.
