REFEREES REQUIRED FOR JUNIOR STATE CUP- Feb, 2012
MWTA is seeking Expressions of Interest from our Junior Referees to referee at the Junior State Cup at Port Macquarie on 16th & 17th February 2013.

Warringah Junior Touch would like to announce the very exciting news that one of our own players 
Hannah Dyball is the first girl from Warringah to be selected into an Australian team. She will be playing in the Under 18 girls team to play in the Australian Youth Trans Tasman series in Auckland New Zealand, February 2013. Hannah has been a junior with Warringah since she was 9 years old. She has made a Manly Warringah rep team every year since Under 10's and has been part of many successful teams. Hannah has represented in touch at many levels through her club and school. This week she is competing in the 2012 School Sport Australia National Championships in Brisbane. Hannah was selected in the Under 15 girls team along with another Warringah Junior Georgia Toovey. Nathan Van Buuren is another Warringah junior who represented the Under 12 NSW boys team.

U/12 Girl's & Boys Development Team Trials
It has been confirmed that Manly Warringah Touch Association will apply to New South Wales Touch Association for 2 Development teams for the 2013 Junior State Cup to be held in Port Macquarie February 16 & 17th.
Eligible Players: Trials will be held for those players who nominated and were unsuccessful at the recent combined trial held on Sunday 21st October and also the Manly and Warringah in house trials held on 14th October.
Sorry but no one from outside these groups will be considered for selection.
Trial Dates
Saturday 10th November @ Beacon Hill Oval 3pm to 5pm.
Note Parents are to be aware that acceptance of these sides into the 2013 Junior State Cup Tournament will not be confirmed until mid-January. This is not guaranteed.

News for all U/9 Coaches
As of Round 5 all U/9 Coaches are asked NOT to be on the field during play.
Positive coaching from the sideline with lots of encouragement will still see your team having a fun night at touch football.
It may seem early, however after many years, this process has worked successfully, we appreciate your support.
If you have any concerns please see us at the desk on Friday night.

Dogs and your Responsibilty
We ask all parents and spectators to keep their dogs on a lead and WELL away from the playing fields. You may be liable if a player or referee is injured during play involving your dog.
PLEASE pick up & dispose of your dog’s POOP so it is not stepped in or on the playing field.

Team T-Shirt + Ball pick up
ALL TEAM MANAGERS — Pick up is Wednesday September 5th, Rat Park 5–6:30pm
Team T-Shirts are not to be cut down to be fashionable in any way! Any T-Shirts that are deemed damaged or inappropriate by any of the WTJ committee, the player will be responsible to replace the T-Shirt at their expense before the next competion match.
Please make sure your team ball has your team name on it
