Code of Conduct
AUTC would like to remind all players, coaches, officials and spectators of the responsibilities they have in maintaining the Touch Football Code of Conduct (see attached). The Code of Conduct is in place to ensure that we can all enjoy our sport free from threat of harassment, violence, abuse or unsportsmanlike behaviour.
Please remember that:
“The referee is the sole judge on matters of fact and is required to adjudicate on the rules of the game during play. The referee may impose any sanction necessary to control the match and in particular, award penalties for infringements against the rules.” (Rule 18.2: 7th TFA Edition Rule Book)
I’m sure we can all look forward to many more enjoyable nights of touch by keeping the games in perspective and maintaining the code of conduct.
Sincerely
Jo Waugh
AUTC President
Still unsure about the Uniform Rule?
Uniform Policy
A reminder that from round 4 onwards teams must be in uniform. For teams in e/f and g/h, that means matching shirts, for teams in a/b and c/d shirts must also be numbered. The penalty will be -1 touchdown for 1 person out of uniform, -2 touchdowns for 3 people out, -3 touchdowns for 5 or more people out. The junior div is exempt from this rule, but it is still strongly encouraged.
