It is also possible that the top 2 teams in B Singles will be promoted to A Singles (Mondays) and the bottom 2 teams in A singles demoted to B singles (Thursdays).
These changes can be affected by the numbers of entries received in each grade.
All teams have bee asked to submit entries for next season during November
--- entries will close when the maximum teams for a night are recieved
or on December 18th.
and end on or before Friday 27th June (maybe 30th June for Monday teams)
We have been allocated 4 courts for Mondays/Wednesdays (a maximum of 10 teams)
and 5 courts for Tuesdays/Thursdays (a maximum of 12 teams)
Depending on entries in grades we may need to schedule one team in a grade to play all its matches (home and away) on a different night to the rest of the grade --
the finals will remain on the normal night for the grade.
From next year all players will pay their match fees directly to CBA rather than to a club - CBA will pay all court costs and also purchase the shuttles -- so all teams will play with the same shuttles.
that covers all players registered with Badminton Victoria
