Following Round 4 games there will be a fundraiser in memory of Chentelle Lozano who passed away on 13.5.2013 from meningococcal disease....Chentelle was a much loved member of Ballina Touch Association and played in the team Aussie Drifters.
Will Petrie from Aussie Drifters will be cooking a sausage sizzle BBQ /beverage with all proceeds going to Chentelle's family ...all players, friends, and supporters welcome .....

G.Lees Massage won the Pan Pacific Master Games in their division(45W/50M) on the Gold Coast, they won this tournament 2 years ago, in doing this they are now undefeated in 14 games. MVP Womens was a tie with Kym Potts & Liz Mudge and for Men Wayne Krause.This team from the country played the more fancied sides from the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Sydney & Brisbane.

Referee Abuse is NOT ON
Referees train like players, they have a huge responsibility like players, they are coached and analysed like players, they are passionate like players and they fight for honour and positions like players. Yet despite all of this, in any sport, we never hesitate to abuse referees and it seems that `sport rage' is becoming common terminology for our behaviour.
