Winter 2013 Nominations Now Closed
Congratulations to the teams who have successfully nominated into the Winter 2013 competition. Staff are now working on the arduous task of putting together fixtures for the new season and these will be uploaded on Thursday 28 March.

PMBL - WINTER 2013
The Senior Domestic Competition has a new name, The Perth Metro Basketball League (PMBL).
We also have a new URL for our website; www.pmbl.asn.au
There are some exciting new changes that come with the re-branding of the competition including Stadium Scoring, a high tech innovative scoring solution, developed by SportingPulse, revolutionises the way basketball games are scored. Computer tablets are the new scoresheets!
With stadium scoring in place, individual season player stats will be available for players to view online.
The Team Duty Roster is no longer enforced in the PMBL. The policy has done what it was implemented to do and has now put us in a position that we can remove the policy from our competition.
A grading restructure has been implemented to ensure the nomination process is as simple as possible. Grades start from division 1 on each night and continue 2,3,4,5 etc. The lower the number, the higher the quality of the grade.
Two-Tier finals structure; Divisions with 8 or more teams will be split into A grade and B grade finals to allow for more teams to playoff in the finals.
By choosing to play in the PMBL you get to play at Perth's Premier Basketball Stadium, 'The WA Basketball Centre'.
All Courts are FIBA 1 or 2 rated, with glass backboards. We have ample parking, including an underground carpark with lift access to the stadium and we guarantee game basketballs will never be more than 12 months old.
Men's competitions run on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights.
Women's competitions run on Monday and Wednesday nights.
Mixed competitions run on Wednesday nights.
MVP prizes and Grand Final prizes will continue for all divisions.
