Monday Start Date:11th February - Grand Final Saturday 27th July
Wednesday Start Date: 13th February - Grand Final 24th July 2013
Monday night Divisions are Mens,Womens & Over 30's (Must be turning 13 years of age this year to be eligible to play in the Senior Competition and must be turning 30 years of age this year to be eligilble to play in the Over 30's Division (Male or Female). Men only in the Mens Division. A player can only play in 1 team in any given division. eg cannot play for 2 Over 30's teams or 2 Men's teams unless where club rules apply. If you have players under 30 years of age you must choose MEN's. Not playing by these conditions will be concidered a forfeit for the teams.
Wednesday night Division is Mixed. A player can only play for 1 team unless club rules apply. (Must be turning 13 years of age this year to be eligible to play in the Senior Competition)
March - June Friday afternoon is Junior Mixed U12, U14, & U16
August - November Friday afternoon/night Junior Girls or Boys U10, U12, U14, U16 & Monday afternoon is OPEN Juniors Girls or Boys.
Format for finals will consist of 4 teams for each pool. Those pools containing less that 4 teams will result in all teams eligible for finals.
For players to qualify for finals they must have played 5 regular round games for their nominated team. Please note rained out games will no longer count towards eligibilty for finals.
Uniforms: All teams must be in uniform. Uniforms must consist of same coloured shirt with numbers and shorts of a similar colour. Shoes and socks (no metal tags)
MTA has a code of conduct to ensure that EVERYONE can participate in Touch Football in a competitive but enjoyable environment free from any form of abuse and/or harassment whether it is as a Referee, player, coach or spectator. We urge all teams to ensure everyone attending Mackay Touch grounds are made aware of the expectations of their behaviour.
Mackay Touch are calling for Coaches and Players to participate in the NQ Touch Football Championships in Townsville on Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th June 2013. (Queen's Birthday Weekend) for the following age groups:
