BCNA Has Teams Turning Pink
Pink Sports Day
Sporting clubs, leagues and associations across the nation to ‘pink up’ for Breast Cancer Network Australia's (BCNA) annual Pink Sports Day over Mother’s Day weekend, 9-10 May 2015. Whilst the campaign traditionally runs over Mother's Day weekend, clubs can hold their event on other days that suit their fixtures and availability.

Diamond Creek
10th May 2015
Get down to Plenty Park on Sunday May 10th (Mother’s Day) to cheer on the Creekers and support a wonderful cause by raising money and awareness for Breast Cancer Network Australia. The Creekers will be turning the club and their playing uniform PINK for the day and there will be raffles, bake sale and loads of pink goodies to purchase at the game to support the cause! Diamond Creek Women’s Football Club will be taking on St Albans Spurs in the Premier Division at 2pm, preceding the Division 1 team playing against Knox at 12pm.
Money raised throughout the day will go directly to BCNA to support its work in ensuring women diagnosed with breast cancer anywhere in Australia are provided with the very best information, services and support possible.
We encourage as many people as possible to come and support this fantastic cause and everyone is welcome to join the Creekers in the clubrooms after the game for the raffle, silent auction and a drink!
Whitehorse Colts
9th-10th May 2015
The Whitehorse Colts are partnering with BCNA this Sunday, to raise money for BCNA and also celebrate Mother’s Day.
All of Whitehorse's 15 football and 5 netball teams will be wearing Pink Arm Tape with each player offering a Gold Coin donation to wear the tape. The women’s football team are also wearing Pink Socks.
"We will be rattling tins around the supporters at the game, for extra donations to BCNA". "Every Mother attending the canteen, will receive a free specially wrapped cake as a gift from the club"
"We look forward to a great day celebrating Mother’s Day and raising money for BCNA". The women's team play Redan at 1pm, Springfield Park, Box Hill.

Tickets can be purchased (CASH ONLY) at the door for $65 and will include a raffle ticket, food and beverages.

Guests include our MC Lisa Scully and Intimo lingerie stylist Leane Flynn.
Entertainment will include music, games, photobooth-style photographer, raffle draw and much more!
Please wear a touch of pink and bring along a bra to hang on our breast cancer lingerie line which will later be donated to the bra recycle bin in support of those impacted by breast cancer.

Bendigo Women’s Football Club are supporting BCNA Pink Sport Day with all members of their team wearing the pink socks for their game against Eastern Devils on Sunday at Kangaroo Flat Reserve in Bendigo, 1:30pm
Chirnside Park

Chirnside Park are playing Hallam at Kimberly reserve, Chirnside Park at 2pm on Saturday. We will be raising money for our BCNA Pink Sports Day. The Chirnside park mens teams will also be at home, so get down and watch some great games of footy and help support and raise money for breast cancer.
Cranbourne

The Cranbourne FC hosts an annual fundraiser and luncheon on this weekend (mothers day)and we are doing so again this year with all funds raised going to the BCNA.
Melbourne Uni WFC
30th-31st May 2015
All teams on the weekend of the 30 & 31st May will be wearing pink socks as part of our uniform to support BCNA. MUWFC will also hold a raffle and encourage friends and family to support the cause in the way of donations.
Eastern Devils
Jo Cox Cup- 3rd May 2015
The Division 1 team for the Eastern Devils will take on St Kilda for the chance to take home the Jo Cox Cup. The annual match was developed in 2013 and is named in honour of Joanne Cox , a former Eastern Devil who lost her life to cancer in 2011. This year, proceeds raised therough the bake sale, BBQ, raffle and auction will go to the action group Couch- caring for people affected by cancer. www.couch.org.au
