VU St Albans will have Western Bulldog Jordan Roughead on its side this weekend as they take on St Kilda.
Looking for their first win of the season the Spurs have called on the Bulldog defender to try and help them across the line this weekend.
Their opponents the Sharks need not worry about an unfair advantage in the fifth versus sixth clash, with Roughead taking up an off field assistant coaching role with St Albans for the rest of the season.
Roughead will be fresh from seeing the cream of the crop from the VWFL play in the AFL Women’s Exhibition game, but his Bulldogs suffered a third defeat in a row to Melbourne.
One player he will be happy to see on his side rather than the opposition this weekend is St Albans captain Bree White, coming off a 16 disposal game for the winning Demons last weekend.
Coming off a win himself Saturday against the inform GWS Giants, Roughead will be full of confidence to cause another upset this weekend in his assistant coaching debut.
