07. Junior Representative Coach Selection Policy

It is the objective of the Club, and the responsibility of the Director of Coaching and Breakers Committee, specifically, to recruit and maintain a quality coaching staff.

08. Gender Policy and Indemnification

The Mornington District Basketball Association is conscious of its obligations to players and parent in the conduct of the teams under its control.

The Association adopts a principle that girls over the age of 12 should generally play in a girl’s competition.

09. Big V Development Player Guidelines

The Association strives to meet the needs of those players who show commitment and skills by providing participation in an elite semi professional basketball competition namely the Big V.

10. Big V Team Selection and Playing Policy

Playing squads consist of a minimum twelve (12) players and can be added to at any time, a MDBA requirement were possible is that eight (8) players are nominated as players from the MDBA competitions.

11. Conflict Of Interest Declaration

Conflicts of interest arise when a board, committee or staff member has a personal interest which may conflict with the best interests of the organisation.

14. Headwear & Hair Accessory Policy

The Mornington District Basketball Association recognises that in circumstances where religious and cultural beliefs conflict with the standard dress code, that modification to the standard uniform may be required.
