FFL PRESIDENTS MESSAGE - Interleague 2007 PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE

Congratulations all the Farrer FL players who will represent the league here today and I wish them all the best. Thank you to all the players in the squad who made themselves available for training over the past 2 weeks.

This year we have taken the step of introducing an under age concept to help reinvigorate representative football and give the younger footballers in our league a chance to display their abilities, as we build towards the State & National carnivals next year. The enthusiasm shown at training has been great to see and I hope that with the enthusiasm & positive feeling generated at training can continue today and produce a quality game.

Thanks to our coaching and selection panel lead by Matt Carroll, and all the FFL coaches for their input into this team. Thank you to our team manager Michael Irons, our trainers Barry Snowden and Brett Grainger and all other helpers who have all contributed to ensuring we present the strongest outfit possible.

Finally I would like to wish players from all leagues participating today the best of luck and an injury free game. Enjoy yourselves.

FFL's Under 24 INTER-LEAGUE TEAM 2007 COACH'S REPORT

I would like to thank the FFL executive for giving me the opportunity to coach the Farrer League this year.

It's a job that I have been looking forward too and I hope that by putting together a competitive team, we will do the FFL proud with our efforts.

I would like to thank all players who have made themselves available to represent the FFL and have put in a concerted effort over the past two weeks to commit themselves to representative football.

Thanks to the 6 Senior Farrer FL club coaches for your input into the side, team manager Michael Irons, trainers Barry Snowden and Brett Grainger and other helpers who have contributed.

Representative football is a great honour, not just for the players, but for the coaches, selectors and the various support staff that are required.

Best of luck to everyone competing today and I hope everyone has an injury free day.

RFL's Under 23 INTER-LEAGUE TEAM 2007 COACH'S REPORT

A different format of representative football this year with the Under 23's. From the two training sessions, numbers were very impressive - seemingly the younger players taking great interest in the RFL.

Hopefully this will rekindle representative football within the region and some different formats will be proposed in the coming months for the future.

I feel very privileged for being given the opportunity to coach this side and I am sure that they will do their best and play together as a team.

Thank you all for coming along and supporting representative football and I hope you enjoy the day.

Jamie Grintell.
