BBC End of Round Robin to the KNOCKOUT

 

The BBC was completed the round robin on Thursday 17th March in Bairiki court 1700hrs and now prepared for the semifinals matches which will be played today (Monday 1700hrs).  The BBC have 5 teams of mix sexes competed for their own goals to be the number one team for the finals.  At this time, there are 4 top teams who has completed the round robin and qualified for the play-off seasons according to the game rankings.  These are: Bullet, Tiger, Firefox and Hurricane.

BBC Schedule for Knockout matches/closing programme: All knockout matches start at 1700hrs, in Bairiki court.

Monday 21/03/11 - Bullet vs Firefox                                           Thursday 24/03/11 - winners runs for the nos. 1&2

Tuesday 22/03/11 - Tiger vs Hurricane                                      Friday 25/03/11 - Prize given/closing

Wednesday 23/03/11 - losers runs for the nos. 3&4

The duration of the game was a 20 minutes running time halves.  Knock out matches 2 quarter still remain but duration 20 minutes stop watch.

Plan

The BBC plans is to work with the Kiribati Basketball Federation in conjuction with development programs carried out by NBDO requires a training for refereeing, coaching, scorebenches, administration and others which the clubs will gain from the federation.  For the time being, BBC requires to take a training first on refereeing depending on their workplan for this year. The main purpose is to increase and outreach the youth level in order to have abilities to run/officiate further competition in any activities the club plan for.  

 BBC is now eager to see the finalist teams who are ready to compete for the semifinals.
