Can Razzle Women Recover & Challenge For The Title?

The big discussion point after last nights exciting DBL games is all surrounding wether the Razzle women's team after starting 0-6 can recover and make one of the greatest turnarounds in League history to reach the finals and possibly challenge for the title.

With the star addition of NZ Olympian Kate McMeekan-Ruscoe the Razzle have some of the top teams anxiously looking over their shoulder.

With McMeekan-Ruscoe suiting up for the first time for Razzle last night they were able to pull off a 68-57 win over the 2nd placed Ansett team and signalled to the rest of the league that they are not giving up on the season yet. Not only did McMeekan dominate the game with 24 points but numerous Razzle players looked rejuvenated and thrived off the experience and leadership of their new team-mate.

While it was a great win there is still a lot of work for coach Rod Tremlett and his Razzle women to do if they want to make the Challenge-Season finals and challenge for the title.

1-6 and still 3 games outside of the 4th position with 8 rounds to go...this could get very interesting!!!

Next week the Razzle have a bye followed by a game against the equal bottom of the ladder Jets and won't meet up against the currently undefeated Uni Rebels until a highly anticipated round 13 clash on the 28th April on court 1 at 9.15pm. A game that fans of the DBL will not want to miss.
