In 12 weeks Matt has, and continues to conduct player clinics at 8 local primary and high schools, instituted the successful Under 12 representative coaching program on Mondays, conducts the Future Stars program, has conducted level 0 coaching courses for local domestic coaches, has run a very successful holiday program, and just this week, has commenced a “Kid’s First” program for beginner players.  Added to this Matt has assisted almost every junior rep coach with their practices, and has been learning the ropes with association administration.

With Director of Coaching, Laurie Van Loo, Matt has commenced an “Adopt a Team” where the State league men and women have ‘adopted’ a junior representative team.  This program is aimed at building a positive and sharing club culture between the representative teams. They have also revamped the Coaches newsletter and have set up a schedule of monthly coaches meetings.   All of this, plus training and playing in the State league team.
