FIBA Oceania's Smith, President Bob Elphinston and Board Member Barbara Wheadon from New Zealand will be joined in France by Basketball Australia CEO Larry Sengstock and  Chairperson Diane Smith-Gander for the announcement which will be made, at 4.30am AEDT Sunday.
