Kiah Sweetman toured with Horizons Sporting Events in 2003/04 and obtained a high school scholarship from the tour with Mount de Chantal in West Virginia.

Kiah provided Horizon's with an update recently

"Just giving you an update on how things are going over here. The USA Today national ranking came out last week and our team Mount de Chantal is ranked 44th in the nation right now!!!! We have about 4 or 5 teams on our schedule in the top 25 so if we can beat a couple we will definitely jump some rankings....


Out of the four girls who graduated last year from my team, all four went division 1 to: uni of Kansas, uni of Penn, Marshall uni and Pittsburgh uni. This year, my senior year, I have a lot of offers from California and locally around here but I still cannot decide where to go! Two other seniors in my team have already signed Div I to Drexel and Saint Francis. I will have to decide soon! In the last four years our team has produced ten Division 1 players.


But our program is awesome here.. our conditioning coach is Doug West, former NBA Minnesota Timberwolves star, and this year Kevin Garnett himself sponsored our team and bought us our shows, bags, sweat pants etc....pretty stoked about that!


I want to try to get over to NC when the aussie team comes over this year but my basketball schedule is so busy I dont think I can. Hope horizons is still doing well!"
