Operating from its base at Stadium Southland, the SBA runs a variety of events including miniball, junior and senior high, summer league and senior competitions.

The following league dates have been set for the 2012 SBA season:

A Grade	10 May
Secondary School	8 June
Social	10 September
Wheelchair	10 September
Miniball	11 September
