The elite of AFL Cairns will meet at the Allen Aylett Room at Cazalys tonight to find out which player has won The Crathern Medal for 2009.
The league's highest individual honour is sure to be fiercely contested with players from this season's top four sides expected to dominate the vote count.
Minor premiers South Cairns will attract their share of votes afters strong seasons from ruckman Andrew Browning and on-baller Matt Kofoed.
The Crathern medal could just as easily head to the northern beaches.
Centrals Trinity Beach centurion goal-kicker Heath barnett, defender Jesse Fewkes and on-baller Josh Maher have all been major contributors to the Bulldogs' success in 2009.
Cairns Saints duo Matt Dwyer and Gareth Hose are also expected to figure prominently.
