One Walsh has been a big enough headache for Saints' rivals to contend with in the AFL Cairns competition, but two Walshes are shaping as a migraine.
Saints full-forward Matt Walsh will be reunited with younger brother Josh on the field for the first time in five years when they turn out against South Cairns at Griffiths Park tomorrow.
The pair last played together for Redan in the Ballarat Football League in 2005.
Josh, a school teacher, was lured to the Far North by Matt, who has established himself as one of the competition’s premier goal kickers over the past four seasons.
"He’s been at me for a few years to come up here but with work commitments in Victoria I couldn’t do it before now," Josh said. "I’m excited to be playing with him. It’s the big reason I came up here because I wanted to do it again before he hangs up the boots in a few years.
