Centrals Trinity Beach and North Cairns will clash at Cazalys tonight for the right to play Cairns City Lions in next week’s AFL Cairns Juniors under-18 decider. Centrals have been forced to rely on their second chance to make the grand final after going down to the Lions last week.
The Tigers, however, are in winning form after eliminating Manunda from the competition. One of the highlights of tonight’s preliminary final will be the battle between Centrals’ Reg Lillywhite medallist Max McLachlan and under-18’s best and fairest runner-up Patrick Nandy from the Tigers.
