North Cairns Tigers have stormed into the AFL Cairns women’s summer league final with a win over Manunda Hawks on Saturday. The undefeated premiers once again proved too strong for the Hawks, finishing with a 5.5 (35) to 2.2 (14) win at Watson Oval.
Centrals Trinity Beach Bulldogs will play Manunda Hawks for the right to take on the Tigers for the title. Hawks coach Fiona Sharp said her team would have to play hard against the Bulldogs next week “because they are going to be rested and ready to play.”
