THE Suns' continued their dream relationship with Cazalys earlier tonight, Karmichael Hunt the hero kicking a goal after the siren to clinch a dramatic two-point victory over Richmond.
Their thrilling win snapped a 21-game losing streak that extended back to the corresponding game last year, when they broke the Tigers' hearts a first time.
Trailing by four, having just kicked a goal through local boy Jarrod Harbrow, Hunt marked about 35m out in the forward pocket.
The siren sounded in the background but the league convert, who has been the centre of massive attention and criticism since his code switch, showed his big-game composure to split the sticks.
He disagreed that the goal was his symbolic graduation to the big boys club, but did say the moment was up there in his career.
"It was. We haven't had a win on the board. When I saw it going through I just celebrated with the boys," he said.
The Suns got out of the blocks brilliantly while the Tigers struggled in the first half, limping into half-time down by four goals.
But they rallied in the third, in fact they kicked fiver straight to make it seven consecutive majors either side of half time.
Richmond soon took the lead with a Riewoldt goal - one of five for the Tigers' star - and held it until the final break.
Both sides were sapped in the humid conditions and played with that tired desperation in the final term.
But when Addam Maric squeezed one off the outside of his boot for the Tigers, they stretched the lead to three goals.
Celebrations were short lived though, with Josh Caddy launching one from 60 metres to start the Suns' fight back.
Harbrow's rampaging goal followed soon after before Hunt's clincher, his second of the night, send the crowd of nearly 11,000 wild and reduced the Richmond faithful to tears for the second straight year.
