It's a case of terrible timing, but Cairns City Lions coach Jason Roe still thinks his team has the qualitity without the flying dreadlocks of Daniel Lewis this weekend. The man with the wildest hairdo in AFL Cairns is playing in Wagga Wagga with Queensland Country and will miss his team's clash with South Cairns tomorrow. Roe said having him would have brought a more-than-realistic chance of breaking their losing streak, but even without theri star forward, all hope was not lost. "We've got a game, we're a chance in and he's not here," Roe said. "We can't take a trick. But we've still got enough talent to get the result, I reckon. "Daniel is just that quality up front, even if he doesn't take the mark, his second efforts and ability to hold the ball in are very good." While state country duties mean Cairns Saints will be without a bevy of their stars against Manunda. Alex MacQueen, Rohan Couch, Matt Walsh and co-coach Brenton Powell have endured three losses in shortened games against NSW/ACT, Victoria and Victoria 2 yesterday on the opening day. Manunda have won five of their last six games and are playing the most-imporved football of any club.
