Ben Koch will officiate in his eighth senior AFL Cairns grand final tomorrow, Warwick Fegan his fourth and Rowan Tattersall his second in two years, in what is one the of the most experienced panels ever to officiate the Cazalys decider. Koch was announced as the AFL Cairns umpire of the year on Monday night. Speaking at the Crathern Medal dinner, the officials all agreed a tight contest is what they were after. "At the end of the day, we're all here because we love the game, and that means watching a close contest," Tattersall said. Other grand final officials - boundary umpires: Liam Kermode, Meg Pullinger, Kris Langham and Sean Thompson; goal umpires: Michael Etherington; Ali Davey. Emergencey field umpire: Luke Heard.
