Saints will meet the rejuvinated Centrals without two of their best and will resist calling on the host of injured players still occupying the side's sick bay.
Rohan Couch and Matt Harth were both handed one-match suspensions by AFL Cairns for making themselves unavailable to play for Cairns a fortnight ago, along with North Cairns' Rex Liddy and City Lions duo Damien Roe and Steven Benbolt.
Player-coach Brenton Powell said a number of Saints players were originally slated to return after their two-week break thanks to the representative game and club bye, but that they would most likely miss another week.
With Couch and Harth also missing, Powell know s the in-form Bulldogs will be a major challenge.
"It's going to be a tough game; they've won their last three....we've seen they've got a few very good players," he said.
