Cazalys has been given special praise from one of AFL's most marketable faces, who starred for the Gold Coast Suns in their last visit north.
Converted rugby league and rugby union star Karmichael Hunt kicked a goal after the siren to steal a win against Richmond last season in one of the game's of the season in Cairns.
Hunt and the Suns will return on Saturday, July 13, to play Richmond for the last of a three-match deal the Tigers struck with the AFL.
No game has been announced for Cazalys beyond this year though, with the Richmond Tigers pulling the pin after recording two losses.
It is something Hunt hopes is just a formality and he even suggested his Suns could fill the void. "The facility is AFL standard, the crowd and atmosphere was great and we want to and look forward to playing up there every season," he said.
"I'm not sure what the latest is, but I dare say (the Suns returning) could be on the cards."
