Saints' clubhouse at Griffiths Park just might fall under the weight of another premierhsip cup, which will be coming their way if they can beat Norths at Cazalys today.
Player-coach Nick Braybon joked yesterday that was the theme of the week, with the cabinets inside their home base brimming with silverware and flags after 20 years of success.
"Put an extra trophy on it and it might break. We might have to look to upgrade it," he said.
His side are hardly complacent though - masters of the finals week, they know how tough it is to win a flag and are aware of how close today's decider should be.
"They're a different side to handle this year and we've kept a close eye on them and their form line and what they do," the key forward said.
Rival captain-coach Kane Richter, named AFL Cairns coach of the year on Monday night, agreed.
"It's these close grand finals that you want to play in and want to win," the Norths mentor said.
"It's always exciting to be amongst it. A lot of players are new to it, but you've got to enjoy the week and enjoy the experience because it's why you play footy."
A win would be special for Norths, who have not had their name on the honour board since 1988.
"It's been a long time coming - people have been involved since 1988 that have worked hard to keep the club standing," said Richter.
"But Saints have been the benchmark and they want it just as much."
