North Cairns continued their unstoppable run through AFL Cairns Women's League Pre Christmas Competition with a shutout of South Cairns on Saturday.
Leading goalscorer Luana Healey added to her season tally with a five-goal haul that helped North Cairns to a 11.15 (81) to 0.0 (0) win at Watsons Oval.
Healey now has nine goals for the season, while her team has outscored opponents 219-14.
The win kept alive Tigers unbeaten streak, which stretches back to last January, while inflicting the Cutters' third loss in an many outings.
In the other game, Manunda Hawks proved they may give some competition to North Cairns with a first half shutout of Centrals Trinity Beach.
Hawks used their stifling defence to hold a 6.5 (41) to 0.0 (0) lead at the half-time break, before taking their foot off the pedal.
Bulldogs improved in the third period but could not make up the halftime deficit despite outscoring their opponents 18-6 in the quarter.
They ended up winning the second half 3.2 (20) to 1.1 (7) but lost the game 3.2 (20) to 7.6 (48).
Hawks will look to build on their first half on Saturday when they face the Tigers at Watsons Oval, while Cutters will be looking for their maiden win against the Bulldogs.
